Miracles

I have been reading the book of Luke this December. Everyday I read one chapter (thanks mom for the challenge 🙂 and the last few days it has talked about all the miracles Jesus performed. This made me think.
Have I ever witnessed a miracle?
What defines a miracle? If you look on google- they describe a miracle as an unexpected and welcome event. So, with that definition, I can think of a few events that I could call miracles.
The conception of our child- after trying for 4.5 years!
My friend’s pregnancy after multiple miscarriages.
Meeting my husband!
Finding the friends I needed at the perfect times in my life.
Having the children that God blessed me with!

What are some miracles that you have witnessed?
When you think of these miracles, how does it make you feel? Does your spouse have any miracles they have witnessed? Do your children know about miracles and how to cherish them?

I challenge you to talk with your family about miracles and find the joy in just how many you have witnessed in your life. I think you will find that your life has been stuffed full of them!

Jesus is the reason for the season. The miracle of God sending his only son to save us from sins.
How do you teach your child about christmas? If you are not a church going family, how do you teach your children the miracle of christmas?

However you celebrate, please do so with an open and kind heart.

May you and your family have a beautiful day!

Merry Christmas!

One of my grandsons and I have been doing a Bible study together via Face-time. He is away at college. In addition to our study, we added reading the book of Luke. I have to say that yes, I hv witnessed some miracles. Seeing a newborn is truly a miracle. Do you think that miracles and “God winks” are similar?

I think that’s incredible that your grandson and you are doing a bible study. To be honest I had not heard of “God-winks” before, so I had to look it up. From what I see is that miracles and God winks are similar but different, and I believe how we perceive the event in our lives makes that difference.
What are your thoughts on God winks. Thank you also for the question. I will continue to read up on God winks.
